Cold pressed, unrefined
Why cold pressed?
Oil that is cold pressed has been mechanically extracted from the seed using a press. No solvents (chemicals) have been used in the process, thus preserving the purity of all the nutrients, particularly the essential fatty acids oils are naturally rich in.
Why unrefined?
Unlike processed cooking oils, which need to go through at least 6 refining phases, cold pressed oils are naturally pure and do not need to go through a single refining process.
Granum Grapeseed Oil is an unrefined vegetable oil obtained by cold press extraction of grapeseed on screw presses. It has a greenish hue and a mild, wonderfully nutty taste. It is popular not only as a cooking oil but also as a cosmetic one.
Uses: A versatile cooking oil which is suitable for frying because of its high smoke point. Its characteristic taste makes it an ideal salad oil and excellent base for mayonnaise and dips.
