Product Description

Gluten free

Rich in fiber

Coconut butter is significantly different from coconut oil. By grinding full-fat coconut flour, the butter retains all the fibers, healthy fats, and nutrients from the coconut, which is the main difference between these two products. What they have in common is a rich source of lauric acid, which plays a vital role in developing the immune system. Coconut is the second largest source of these acids after mother’s milk. Also, it contains antibacterial properties, which can positively affect the fight against various types of viruses and infections.

Coconut butter has a wide range of applications in cooking and cosmetics. Its consistency varies concerning the temperature, so that we can meet with several options, from very creamy to a slightly harder or waxy texture. The taste is full, intense, and not too sweet, so that we can use it for sweet and savory dishes.
Oil separation on the product’s surface is natural because no artificial additives were used.

Ingredients and Allergens

Composition: 100% coconut
The product may contain traces of coconut flakes. The mentioned flakes are not harmful or dangerous for human consumption.
It may contain peanuts, nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, and cashews), and traces of sesame.
Country of origin of raw material: Indonesia

Use and Storage

Coconut butter, unlike oil, is not used for frying and stewing purposes, but like any spread, it can be part of your healthy breakfast, an addition to porridge, and the main ingredient for various sweet treats. It also proved an indispensable ingredient in shakes because it gives them a creamy and dense structure. Considering the fats and proteins, its texture foams during the whipping process and thus can serve as a healthy vegan substitute for eggs and milk.

Store in the original packaging in a dry, dark, and cool place, away from sources of heat and sunlight. Mix the product before use.

Method of production

Coconut butter is obtained by grinding and homogenizing full-fat coconut flour.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I buy coconut butter?

You can order coconut butter directly through our website or buy it in health food stores throughout Serbia.

Does coconut butter need to be kept in the refrigerator?

No, coconut butter does not need to be refrigerated. It is necessary to store it away from sources of heat and sunlight.

How do we use coconut butter as a vegan egg substitute?

Due to the fat and protein in this butter, it foams during the whipping process, thus imitating the structure of beaten eggs. We do not have a precise measurement for substitution, but we can suggest one tablespoon of butter as a substitute for one egg.

Can we use coconut butter for the skin in the same way as coconut oil?

The short answer is yes, coconut butter is safe for the skin of the body and face. The only difference is in the amount of fat and the product’s structure. Coconut butter is creamier and fattier, spreads more efficiently, and is more suitable for people who need intensive skin hydration.

What is the difference between goat butter and coconut oil?

The first difference arises in the production process itself. By grinding full-fat coconut flour, the butter retains the fibers and fats from the coconut, while by cold pressing to obtain oil, these fibers and fats are lost. We notice another difference in the application; we cannot use coconut butter for frying and stewing, while oil is a perfect choice.

What is the shelf life of coconut butter?

If we store it correctly, its shelf life is one year.

Can coconut butter be used on a keto diet?

Based on previous research, coconut butter is an entirely keto-friendly product. Considering the high percentage of healthy fats in our butter, which is over 60%, it is the perfect choice for a keto diet.
