Pumpkin seed butter is considered one of the healthiest spreads in the world. The bold and intense taste of pumpkin seeds characterizes it. Pumpkin seeds contain large amounts of minerals such as copper, iron, manganese, magnesium, phosphorus, and zinc. Also, vitamins B3 and E, as well as healthy omega 6 and omega 3 fatty acids, make them a great ally in the fight against high cholesterol, anti-inflammatory diseases, and diabetes. It is an excellent choice for maintaining strong and healthy bones and muscles, and because of its nutrition and medicinal properties, pumpkin is also called the “Vojvodina banana.”

Granum pumpkin butter won the prestigious SOIL ASSOCIATION award in the spread category in 2006.

Oil separation on the product’s surface is natural because no artificial additives were used.

Ingredients and Allergens

Composition: Pumpkin seeds 97%, Virgin pumpkin oil 2.5%, Sea salt 0.5%.
The product may contain peanuts, stone fruits (almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, and cashews), and traces of sesame.
Country of origin of raw material: Serbia

Use and Storage

In addition to being used as a spread and complement to other cereal porridges, pumpkin butter can be used to make delicious sauces and toppings, which can be served with various side dishes. You can prepare a delightful salad dressing, sauce, or soup base by adding water, lemon, and spices and mixing them evenly. For those who still prefer desserts, a little natural sweetener can be added to the butter and used as a sweet spread or in addition to oatmeal.

Store in the original packaging in a dry, dark, and cool place, away from sunlight. Mix the product before use.

Method of production

Pumpkin seed butter is obtained by grinding pumpkin seeds in stone mills, adding other ingredients, and then using a homogenization process to get butter.
