The taste of carob is very close to that of a chocolate, and being naturally sweet, it requires only a small amount of additional sweetener (in this case the fructose). The low glycaemic index (22) makes the Sweet Diabetic suitable for persons having high blood sugar levels. It contains unsaturated fatty acids, Omega 6 and 9, which provide valuable assistance in fighting cholesterol and cardiovascular diseases. It is rich in minerals, such as: iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus and copper, including vitamin E (a powerful antioxidant).
It contains no cholesterol, hydrogenated fats, gluten or casein.
Sweet Diabet is a fasting product.
Ingredients: 65% sunflower seed, 20% fructose, 5% unrefined coconut fat, 5% of cold pressed sunflower oil, 5% of carob, 0.1% orange flavour.
